Shutterfly giving away FREE Christmas cards....say what!?!

How often do you get something for next to nothing you ask?? Well, TODAY if you are a blogger!
Shutterfly has a special offer for 50 free Christmas cards! Check it out here

Now many of you that know me know that I am what you could consider a Christmas-aholic! It is my favorite season/holiday of the year. I love the family time, the happy mood my hubby carries, the joy and excitement on my kids faces, the smell of the Christmas tree (real only) ,how cozy the house feels, and I could go on and on. I especially love that it is the only holiday were the birth of Jesus is celebrated and recognized!

2010 has been such a blur with the jam packed events such as selling our house, Luke starting Kindergarten, having a baby and moving! It feels like we just sent Christmas cards out the way this year has flown by. I am excited to start this next year off fresh and with new vision and focus! I want to slow down, settle in, and enjoy what really matters. I also want to rename and revamp my unassuming little blog. With that said, I am not going to procrastinate on the Christmas cards this year. That is right, not only will you get a card BUT you will get a card from me before.....drum roll please.... before the week of Christmas! Because I love you AND because Shutterfly is oh so FLY! It was surprisingly easy to pick a card because they make it easy to narrow it down. You can filter by color, size, flat or folded, number of photos. They are all great and appeal to the different styles I love to give and receive!

For the record- I never throw away a photocard when I get it. Kind of in a sick "Hoarders" sort of way. To me, it is a real photo and it documents the year of the person sending it. So it is never a waste to send one my way!

I really like this Nativity card because it is so hard to find cards now a days that reflect any Christian theme....or even say "Merry Christmas". For me this is a must. At least give me room to write my own message. Shutterfly gave me both!~

I love how classic this Seasonal Chic Noir card is! I normally don't like any black on my Christmas cards but I think this one even looks frame worthy. I need something with at least three picture options because we have such a large family now and well...the kids are just too cute not to share! I love the feature of being able to select how many photos you want on your card- this save a ton of time filtering through cards. I am excited to include a pic of new baby Asher for those family and friends that have not beheld his beauty yet. Think Merry Christmas/Birth Announcement all in one!

I got a few of these calendars as gifts last year and the Grandparents LOVED them! I have kept them as a keepsake every year. If you spend over $25 right now you get free shipping so getting a few for family and friends is the way to go. Every month of the year you can customize the look of the page. It is almost like digital scrap booking made easy. Anyone can do it. Well....if I can, anyone can!

I look forward to showing off the new babe and family picks this year and wishing everyone I love a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

List of Loves

So it has been a while since I have updated the ol' blog!! I desire to keep it up more regularly but with three kids it is not so high on my available use of time list =)) I hope to post Asher's birth story on here this week for sure though. If anything so I don't forget it but also to share how good my God is! I am continually amazed at his goodness and faithfulness to me. It leaves me feeling in awe of how He could love me so much and find such worth in me. There are seasons in life were I feel so dependant and close to Him and this is were I find myself now. Not because I have been so faithful but because I have lost all control. It is an adventure for sure!

To get this blog moving again and in the spirit of randomness, I would like to post a top ten list of why I love my new baby Asher....in no order of power..

Top 10 Reasons I love my Asher James :
  1. His little hands look like stars with dimples in the joints (as do most babies but I love this)
  2. The way his lip curls when sleeping
  3. The way his eyes look like little crescent moons when he gives me a big open mouth smile
  4. His name
  5. He is finally here and I know him now and he is healthy
  6. He keeps me up all night grunting with gas but loves me too much to be mad at him - the power he has!
  7. Chubby thighs
  8. The way he smells- spit up and all
  9. The purpose I feel from God in him - what/who will he be?
  10. How altogether wonderful he is to me
I could keep going but don't want to be obnoxious

Gaa Gaa Goo Goo! Eat, sleep, poot, repeat......
