Last Saturday 9/27 we took a much needed trip with The Graham's to see Thomas the Train in Spencer, NC. There is a transportation museum that Thomas and a few friends like to stop at. Bob the Builder was there...yawn....and Sir Topham Hat....creepy. The museum was amazing and had the most beautiful design. It was interesting to really see Luke's Thomas train table come to life. There was a HUGE roundhouse shed, and turntable. For those without kids, going to see Thomas as a little boy is as going to the Superbowl for a grown man. H-U-G-E.
Ella was sick but we had to take her. She looked quite pitiful most of the time but randomly got excited when Luke talked to her. Luke is her favorite!
They had many train tables for the kids to play with. Luke was drawn to the one that looked exactly like his. I had to pull him away from it after a while bc there was so much more to see.
Check out the sign on the building. I could not say it better myself!
This was to remind the workers working in the yard to "Be Careful" while working on the large steam locomotives.
The boys had this expression in between giddy open mouth squeals.
